Surfs Up!
I made 10 of these cards for my OWH box. The surfboard paper is from Rusty Pickle. Except for the sand the other papers are DCWV Tahiti Beach stack. All are mounted an Bazzill cardstock.

Patriotic
A couple more cards using the same vintage image and more Bo Bunny papers. The brads in the second card I colored with Copic markers over white to give a more vintage look.

Land of the free, home of the brave
Another 4th of July card using my Bo Bunny papers from last year. The image is from Create With TLC. I colored with Copics and used Antique Linen Distress Ink around the edges and also around the edges of the computer generated sentiment. Did a little sewing on it also. Had to drag my machine out.

Red white and blue
This card will be used for this weeks mid week throw down on OWH. The challenge was to make a summer card. Although I made this card for the Fourth of July it can be used any time by the troops. The circle uses paper from a Bo Bunny pad from last year. The Red paper with the cutout stars is from Creative Imaginations. I cut the paper so the stars were even on each side. I put through a star embossing folder. I had 3 sheets of the paper and I was able to make a dozen cards for my OWH box.

Ford Built
A few days ago I visited my favorite craft store and among other things I bought 4 sheets of paper, not that I needed it. This sheet of cars was one of them. I cut this in strips and made 10 cards for the OWH box. I used up different colors of Basic Grey paper for the backgrounds, using up some of my really old paper. That felt good. The Ford Built sentiment was computer generated. I positioned it where I wanted it on the card and put all 10 pieces through my printer at one time. I used a speedometer stamp from We Are Memory Keepers that my daughter gave me. A little acrylic set she paid $.99 for . I liked the look of the bare chipboard so I didn't bother to cover it, just stamped right on it.

Using smalls
Sandy on OWH showed some cards she made with 3"x4" papers. I have been having fun all evening making these. Nothing fancy but perfect for the troops to use. A great way to use bold papers.
My box will go in the mail tomorrow with 94 cards, half masculine.

I have spurs that jingle, jangle, jingle
Still making masculine cards for my OWH box. I have 6 of these. The image is from an Inkadinkadoo stamp, colored with Copics. The gray paper I mounted it on is from a pack of 50, 10 different colors, from a textured pack by Michael's Recollections brand. I rather liked the look of the paper. It was about $13 for the pack and I used a coupon and got it for $6.50. That is $.13 a sheet, a real bargain.
The sentiment here is computer generated. The song "I got spurs that jingle jangle jingle" was composed for a 1942 movie and sung by Tex Ritter. I have been singing this song all day. I rather like it!

Filet Of Sole
This was a fun card to make. I used a piece of clip art for the image. I popped the image up. It breaks my heart but the 3 colors of cardstock I used are now gone. The Bazzil has been retired. The mustard color is really old Stampin up and it has been one of my favorite colors over the years. I hate to order a pack of 25 so maybe I can get someone to share a pack they have. I have 5 of these cards for my OWH box.

Fun in the Sun
I made 6 of these cards for my OWH box. The image is a piece of clipart. The sun is a stamp that I stamped on the reverse of the paper and cut out. I stamped the sentiment on another color yellow and layered the two. The sentiment circle is popped up.

Horse #2
Another stamp from the Inkadinkadoo horse set. I used a sheet of double sided My Minds Eye paper. I have 4 of these for the OWH box.
Running horse
This card gave me fits. First I chopped an entire piece of patterned paper for the base. Then I chose a brown to mat the horse on. After I put a couple together I decided I didn't like it. Chopped up this green paper. Decided to add a third mat to the image. Put it all together, Scanned a picture. The slight pink tone to the first brown image mat looked really pink! The green looked really bright! Pulled the card apart and took off the first brown mat. Toned down the green with chalk inks and put the card back together. Decided I would add some distress inks. Got out my mat and started distressing 5 cards that had the green base on the card. Got ink all over the back of the cards so I had to chop the entire front off. I am done. Clean backs, toned down the green, used just one mat for the image.
Five more masculine cards for the OWH box

Happy Fathers Day
OWH needs Fathers Day cards so I have started on some. I wanted something a little different with some color to it. I simply cut a circle from the fish paper. The reverse side had the plaid so I bought 2 sheets. The paper has a subtle sheen to it on both sides. I was able to get enough for 7 cards.

Throw back the lemons
This card uses the current sketch challenge #116 on Operation Write Home. I had enough of the lemon paper to make 5 cards. The sentiment is from Create With TLC.
Another card using my food papers. Sometimes I just plain enjoy working with them. These gummy bears are so colorful I thought the paper made a nice hot summer card. The sentiment here is another one from Create With TLC. I made 6 of these cards so I put 1 in my stash, the rest for the Operation Write Home box.
