Happy Fathers Day

OWH needs Fathers Day cards so I have started on some. I wanted something a little different with some color to it. I simply cut a circle from the fish paper. The reverse side had the plaid so I bought 2 sheets. The paper has a subtle sheen to it on both sides. I was able to get enough for 7 cards.

Don't you just love it when you can get so many cards from so little paper? Great card.

I like the subtle colors in this card. This is a great example of using 2-sided DP!

What a great idea Cora Jean!

Thanks for playing in our midweek throwdown challenge at Operation Write Home Stars & Stamps!

That's great you were able to use both sides of the paper. I love how you put the fish in a circle, which really breaks up the grid of the plaid! And the twine is a super finishing touch!

Hi Cora! Gotta love those 2-sided papers and you have made a fabulous card. I like the tag for the sentiment too.

I thought your fish were upside down when I first looked - but upon a closer look - the fish were right side up - yeah - and it has nothing to do with the two margaritas I just drank = great card - thanks for your continued support of OWH

Hi Cora, I came to have a closer look at this one after I saw your FB post. That fish paper is fabulous and I love the way the plaid works so perfectly with it. Great work!

I love that about double sided paper! I always struggle with coordinating papers. Very nice card!
