Just a quick upload of a card for you. I need to get something on here. I am busy trying to get some cards finished so I can send off for OWH.

I can't believe it has been a week since I updated this blog. I guess I haven't been in the mood. Been busy making cards and reorganizing cardstock and etc. I don't know what it is about reorganizing that I enjoy.
This is a card made with Provo Craft free clipart. I sent off about a dozen of these a couple of months ago. I put the card on the Facebook OWH site but it never made it to my blog. I needed to do some fine tuning to that first one. This was the final result
I am ready now for my second cuppa of the day. Want to have a look at the online news before I get crafty

This is a fun digital image from Bugaboo. I colored with Copics. I added Diamond Glaze to the cake icing. The background paper is frosting from the DCWV snack pad. The white parts on it are built in gloss. The sentiment is from TLC.
I wanted to leave a link for TLC and Bugaboo but I am using the new Internet Explorer 9 and I can't figure out where the paste thing is.

I managed to get some Fathers Day cards made. The stamp used on the cards with the tags is an old DOTS stamp. I picked it up for $.90 at Goodwill quite some time ago. This is the first time I have used it. I used the Brilliance Tiramisu ink pad. I had only 4 tags so I made 3 cards with the blue argyle background and 1 with the red. I made a trip to the store just to check the fishing department for a fly or lure I could put on the mesh. I came home with what looked like a little minnow made out of rubbery stuff. I tried several different adhesives but they wouldn't stick to the card. It would have looked so cute too. The card with the wood background I used a Creative Keepsake font that I have had for years and I do mean years. It goes back to my scrapbooking days. The CD says 1999, 2000. I colored in the font with Copics. I had seen the screw brads at Michaels so I made a special trip to get them. I had spent $50 at 2 different craft stores before I ever got home.

Do you think 4 cards is enough for today. All the same cards with different colors. I used up almost all of my Basic Gray Scarlet Letter pad I have had forever. I was able to make 14 cards. Then when I was telling my Angela about doing that she said she needed what I had left to finish an album for our Amanda. She managed to have 3 papers she could use and I found a couple more but I forgot to tell her.
