This card will be used for this weeks mid week throw down on OWH. The challenge was to make a summer card. Although I made this card for the Fourth of July it can be used any time by the troops. The circle uses paper from a Bo Bunny pad from last year. The Red paper with the cutout stars is from Creative Imaginations. I cut the paper so the stars were even on each side. I put through a star embossing folder. I had 3 sheets of the paper and I was able to make a dozen cards for my OWH box.

OMG! Cora, I LOVE this! Of course, I'm a BIG fan of red, white and blue... :) And definitely, to me anyway, summer colors... you rock!
WHat a lovely card! I have often tried to think of a way to use the papers with the patriotic words on them. This is a beautiful way to do this. I may scraplift your idea!
great card Cora Jean! makes me want to go out and find a parade!
great inspiration piece!
You are so clever, Cora! Wonderful card not only meaning summertime 4th of July, but patriotic for year round and for any hero cards. TFS.
Great hero card. I love anything red, white and blue. Thanks for the inspriation.
Cora, this is a terrific Fourth of July card. Thanks for playing in our Midweek Throwdown Challenge at Operation Write Home Stars & Stamps!
What a great card, and red, white, and blue are such summer colors. I usually use the patriotic word papers for the bottom of cards, but that's such a clever idea to cut them in a circle! Thanks for the inspiration!
Great card Cora Jean, I really like the stars you've repeated and added to the bottom! Thanks for playing in our Midweek Throwdown challenge at Operation Write Home Stars & Stamps!
