OWH Pizzaz skip

This was a fun card to make. I started by stamping this stamp (sorry, I don't know the maker. I unmounted the stamp and neglected that information) with Rich Cocoa Memento ink. I colored with Copic markers. I colored the dots on the leaves with an orange Sakura Glaze Pen. Gave them a nice little shine even though you can't see that here. I used white card stock so I could keep the true colors of the Copic markers. I didn't want the background to be so white though so I spritzed the colored image and the top piece of the card with Tsukineko Walnut ink. I have an area set up in my garage to do this. I mounted the image on a bronze metallic paper after putting it through an embossing folder. After putting the card together I edged with chalk inks. The top jewels are Swarovski crystals in a topaz color. The crystals on the image are a smoked topaz.

I hope you are enjoying this skip coordinated by Barb.

I like how you spritzed the background. it tones down the white nicely and gives your card some more interest!

The spritzing is what catches my eye too. I like how it pulls the card colors together. I will add this technique to my list to try. Love the card Cora!

Terrific fall card Cora! I like the spritzing and bling you added but I particulary like how you add the texture to the image itself with the embossing folder. The extra dimension adds a lot of zing and it's a little different for me since I typically use embossing only on background pieces.

I am also taken by the spritzing! I bought a couple aqua misters from stampin' up and haven't had the courage or nerve to try them out yet (I'm guessing there's a learning curve in using that technique!). Thanks for the inspiration to maybe practice and try them out!

The combination of spritzing and then embossing the white background makes such a huge difference on this card. Definitely gives it a nice fall feel. TFS

Cora, this is beautiful! Those leaves look like they were printed; you're incredible at coloring. THe Walnut ink and embossing are great accents too. This has an awesome rustic feel because of the extra TLC you gave it. Once again, I'm kicking myself for tossing my Walnut ink because I hadn't (yet) figured out what to do with it. Shame on me! It's going back on the list now, lol. Thanks for sharing!

Fall is around the corner and there are so many ways to color leaves using inks like you have or markers, or perfect pearls, magical micas, and sprays. Thanks for sharing.

All those details is what makes the card special. The rounded corners add a lot to make the card feel special. I just found my glaze pens and will have to try them again.

Beautiful card. I am new to spritzing but just bought some and wondered how to use it. I like the white cardstock but also feel at times it can be to bright. I like the idea of spritzing. I will have to try it today.

Oh, my where to begin? Love the coloring, the spray pattern spritz and the little bit of bling you added to the stems of the leaves. Rounding the corners also seems to make it stand out a bit from the standard card. Thanks for sharing!!!
