Sock monkey time
The midweek throwdown on OWH this week is monkey cards. I think these sock monkeys will work. I had a sheet of monkey paper I cut up to make several cards.

Pears
My first try using my Tim Holtz Distress markers. The first card I made I used the markers directly to the stamp for the pear. For the final version I used the Scattered Straw pad directly to the pear. The leaves used Peeled Paint and the stem used Frayed Burlap markers. I used Sepia Versafine for the script. I used the Scattered Straw pad with the sponge squares to go around the card bringing it in to the pear. For the final touch I distressed the edges and used Versamagic Jumbo Java very lightly.

Bicycle fun
All of these cards from 1 sheet of paper with bikes. I just couldn't stop until I used them all. I made 17 cards. I used up a lot of leftover pieces of card size paper.
Of course, all of these are from my OWH box

Happy Fall-ODBD June Challenge
The June challenge from Our Daily Bread Designs is to make a card with a non standard shape. I used my pumpkin Nestabilities. I first folded my white cardstock base. It is connected only at the fold on the stem. I reinforced that fold with clear packing tape on the outside. I covered the back of the card with a single layer of cardstock to cover the tape. I dug out my container of fall supplies for the paper. It made me finger and fondle the goodies and want to make more fall cards when it is still summer. I added some Diamond Glaze to the flower centers for a little pop. Stamped the sentiment and tied a ribbon around the stem.
This is for my OWH box so I will have to wait to send it.

Hugs
Hug is a digi. I used up some odds and ends of pretty paper. Any jewels you see are Swarovski crystals. So pretty. I made a dozen of these cards. I have a mix of gender neutral and some more feminine. All for Operation Write Home.
