I normally don't do the sketch challenges. I really enjoyed working with this one. I tried to keep true to the sketch and use the size pieces asked for. When using these sketches keep in mind that you can flip them over.
For the cat on this card I went over it about 3 times with a clear Glaze pen. I used a yellow Crystal lacquer on the eyes and the spots on the body. The sentiment was all a 1 piece acrylic stamp. I cut it so I could place the sentiment on 2 separate papers. I finished the end strips with some Basic Grey brads.
The cupcake was colored with Copic markers. I finished off the icing and the heart with Diamond glaze. The chocolate icing background is from a DCWV snack stack. I love all the yummy papers in this stack so much I bought 3 big pads. The sprinkles paper is from a sheet of Martha Stewart paper with cupcakes on the reverse side.

Cora Jean, it looks like playtime was pretty fun with this sketch! I especially like how you split the sentiment on different papers on the first card. The extra touches that you gave your cards really make the difference!
Cora Jean, you made nice sample cards for this sketch challenge. Thanks for the nfo. on how you created the sentiment. Great tip! Thanks for the inspiration.
These were great sample cards. I love how you placed the sentiment on the cat card!
THanks for giving us such great sample cards for inspiration with this week's sketch challenge! I like how you flipped the sketch for 2 different looks! Great job on both!
