Time for the green

The OWH midweek throwdown is for a green card. It doesn't get any greener than this! A hot lime green with a hot pink.

Since I have a lot of green cards I am going to add some more.

Cards done with Prisma Pencils

On the OWH Facebook page there seems to be a lot of interest in coloring with pencils. I decided I would show some of the cards I made before I got my Copics. All of these were done several years ago.

Fishing and hunting

This card has a stamped image from an old PSX stamp I bought at my St. Vincent DePaul store. I stamped it with Hero Arts mid tone blue ink. I made 5 of this card.

The moose image on this card is an Our Daily Bread Designs stamp. I used Versafine Onyx Black ink. I made 4 of this card.

If Life is a Journey

Shuffling around the same papers to use them up. The funny plaid is the reverse of the argyle. I was trying for a masculine look. This is the first time I have used this stamp from My Favorite Things. I think it was in a set I received on the OWH cruise.

Top 10 cards of 2012

It looks like some of my favorites didn't make it to the top ten. It was hard to pick.

#1 This is a personal card made for my granddaughters 19th birthday.

#2 Stamps by Stamp In the Hand. A Goodwill purchase. Colored with Distress Inks

#3 Another pear stamp from the same set.

#4 Colored with Copics. I spritzed the background with Walnut inks.

#5 A La Blanche stamp colored with Copics

#6 Another La Blanche stamp colored with Copics.

                                                            #7 Colored with Copics

                                                              #8 Colored with Copics

#9 Distress inks directly to stamp. I can't remember if it was pads or markers

#10 This is one of the cards I made with the Reverse Iris fold tutorial from the Stars and Stamps blog. I really enjoyed doing these.

I love you-End of the year group two!

The above cards were all part of the design of a sheet of very shimmery paper.

That's it folks! All of the love cards out of the folder.

I love You end of the year

It is time to get these on this blog so I can empty the card folder out a bit. So many I love you cards, lots of them valentines. Here goes.

The last pieces of this pad of Basic Grey used on the above cards.

Enough. I still have a couple left.

Same basic design, different papers. I wanted to showcase this contemporary paper.

Personal Christmas cards

The bird images are a digi from Doodle Pantry. The carolers are a digi from Dearie Dolls. I embellished the cards with Glossy Accents, a Glaze pen, and because they were not going in the OWH box I also used Stickles and  Copic Spica Glitter pens.

ODBD challenge for December

The challenge is for a card with flowers. I made some cards using chipboard flowers. I tried to get a very contemporary look. Some I added gems to, others I used crystal lacquer. Some of the papers used I have had for years. Yes indeed, one has citrus fruit. I thought the flower was perfect as a center for that lime. On the last card it looks like I forgot to do some color correcting. Too Late! The paper is really much more colorful.
