Doing the Fathers Day thing
It is early in the morning for me. I am on my first cuppa. I can't find the stamp set I used. I guess I need to start my morning by cleaning off the desk from what I was working on last night. The papers are at least a couple of years old.I made 6 of each for my OWH box

Tags and Twine
The Mid week Throwdown at OWH is tags and twine. I picked up 2 sheets of this nice heavy Bazzill paper for $.25 a sheet. The bottom had this card design. I cut off the bottoms and have 6 cards with a similar look. The top half is no design so I also like that. The back side is the stripes. The stamp is Stampendous. It came in a square frame and I cut it off. No regrets.
I decided I didn't like the black so I redid with blue. I like it much better. The blue ties in better with the stripes

Wild animal papers.
I have been making cards with wild animals. These particular papers just didn't fit with the animals I am working with so here they are as stand alone with no animals.

Miss you robots
Bazzill had a line of paper I fell in love with. I cut up an entire sheet of these cute robots. It made 8 cads, 4 with the yellow paper and 4 with the red. The yellow paper was not Bazzill, the others were. They all had double sides. Each robot was different. On the bottom card I cut out from scraps and popped up the sentiment.
The top card I will use for this weeks mid week throw down on OWH. The challenge was to use stripes. They show up behind the robot on the yellow paper.

Let's play ball
I used a Stampendous stamp called Sports Border. I only made 4 for my OWH box so I need to make more. Trying to use up odds and ends of printed paper.

OWH sketch #164--- Day 1 Pattern Play
This card will do double duty for this weeks sketch at Operation Write Home and Day 1 of the online Card Class Pattern Play.
I used 3 different papers all from the same line of Bo Bunny 12" double sided paper. After all of the strips on my 6 cards were already put on, I saw that I had not centered the design like the class taught. I will use the excuse that I am dragging around today. The dotted paper was used as a solid. I was able to have the flowers on the middle piece show. I did manage to use 3 printed papers. The buttons were cut with my cherrylyn die from Bazzill Bling cardstock. I don't know the brand of stamp, I am thinking one of the cheap $1. Now that I have scanned the card I will pop up the buttons with Scotch dimensional tape.

Great Big Hugs.
Using my new Stampendous stamp. Some of these papers are REALLY old. I have lots of new paper but there is just something satisfying about using up old paper. The 2 bottom cards are made with Basic Grey Archaic line papers.
I did so many feminine cards in my last OWH box that I I am now in the mood for some that are more masculine.
I have 15 cards using this stamp

Mothers Day
I am not in the mood to do individual pictures today so you are getting an overview. I did multiples on some of them. All together I made 26 cards for the OWH box using these designs. The circle sentiment is a Hero Arts stamp. The other sentiments are computer generated.

Yet more owls
This uses the Hero Arts stamp I bought a week ago. I like to call him "My Sophisticated Owl". Hero Arts calls him "Big Eyed Owl" and indeed that fits. I think the image is suited towards a little older group of people than a lot of the owl stamps. Perhaps to the teenage kids. The first card uses the front and back of the paper from a K&Co. Confetti pad. Lots of birthday papers in it. I can't remember what paper I used on the second card. I made 4 each for my OWH box.

Swirly bird nest
This is a Stampendous stamp I bought and then wondered whatever was I thinking. It has a rectangular image. When I stamped it it was plain ugly. That was months ago. I had another look at it. I stamped with blue Paris Dusk Memento on lightly patterned paper. I colored the bird with a Copic marker and then added a layer of Diamond Glaze to make it pop. This time I cut in a circle. I have 8 of these for my OWH box. The one with an overload of pearls I will keep in my personal stash.
