Turtley Awesome

The precolored turtle digi and the sentiment are both from Create with TLC. I did 2 or 3 coats of colored glaze pens on the flowers to make the color pop. I have had the turtle digi for months and just never used it. I made 3 cards for the OWH box and one for my personal stash.

C is for Cookie

Messing around with some cookie paper. The animal cookie paper is older than the hills. I made a few of these for the OWH box. I thought a child would enjoy receiving it. The sentiment is from Create With TLC. I used crystal lacquer in a couple of different colors on the cookie sprinkles and the letter C. I popped up the sprinkle cookie for some dimension.

Stay tuned for cards made with older than the hills animal prints. Oh my.

Addicted

This sentiment is a digi from Creating With TLC. I love my coffee. I drink a 12 cup pot a day. I have not been in the mood to color with Copics so I have been doing some basic cards. I made 4 of these. I put  3 copper colored Pearl Pen drops along the top edge of  the other cards. I am scanning this and the drops aren't dry on the other cards yet. I like blue and brown together and I thought this card would be good for either gender to receive

I have had a cold all week. I can't believe it. I had a cold on the cruise the first week in February and here I have another one. Funny thing is I have had a painful hand again like I did just before the cruise. I blamed that on holding my iPad. Had to take prednisone to heal it. This time I think it was from holding my 19 pound grandson on my knees facing me so I could play with him. He is a little over 4 months old and needed a lot of support. I have to blame it on something! You get to be 70 and the arthritis starts to kick in. The good thing is, it is in my left hand and I am right handed.

Okay, it is midnight and I am off to bed.

For The OWH color challenge

I chose yellow and green when Jan asked me for a sample card. I colored the butterfly with Copic markers

Under the sea

Using up some more papers from a pad. I used 3 octopus backgrounds and 2 with the pink octopus. For the first card I stamped the octopus on paper and cut out. I colored him in a few places and added some green Crystal Lacquer to his eyes and legs. The starfish stamp is from the same set of stamps. I also put lacquer on him. The feeling fishy sentiment is also from the same Recollections acrylic pack. The hello sentiment and the fish are from different sets.

I miss you.

I used a sheet of paper with hearts that I chopped up. Stamped the sentiment. I managed to use up 6 sheets of Basic Grey Kioshi paper from the small pad. Had to chop into a big sheet to do the card with 3 hearts. It wasn't easy even with all my paper to find colors that worked. These cards will go in my OWH box

More Mothers Day

For this card I used a tag I have had for a long time. I used a Cuttlebug alphabet set for the Mom. I was afraid the tag would have a problem adhering to the fibers so I fastened it with the heart brads.

I used a Penny Black sticker for this. This is it. I am sick of Mothers Day cards. I have 24 plus another 32 misc. for the OWH box.

Tomorrow my Gold Beach grandkids will make the 200 mile trip here for a couple of days.

Happy Mothers day

Version #2

Version #3. This has delicate white ruffle lace across the top

Still working on Mothers Day cards for OWH. On the top card I stamped the image, colored just a bit and went over the colored parts and the sentiment with a Glaze pen to make them pop a little. I have 4 of them finished, debating on making some more. I am out of this lace. The bottom image has a computer generated sentiment and I just added a flower. Trying to use up some small pieces of Designer paper so this is a one of a kind.

I moose you a lot

The stamp is from Our Daily Bread designs. I stamped with Memento and colored with Copics.

CAS Mothers Day card

A clean and Simple card. Waaay outside my comfort zone.  lol  This was one stamp and I cut it apart so I could ink up seperately. I stamped the flower twice to get the different colors. I rather like how it turned out. I have 4 like this and I may make some more. It went together pretty fast once I was able to get the computer generated sentiment exactly where I wanted it. If I had been real ambitous I would have used embossing powder. I wasn't

Home is where the heart is

In the paper purge my daughter gave me were some adhesive backed fabric sheets. The adhesive seemed very good so I made up a few cards. The sentiment is from one of The Hero Arts/Operation Write Home packs. These will be for OWH

If a kiss was a raindrop

I love how this turned out. I made 3 for OWH. The card is for the Our Daily Bread Designs challenge. The company contributes the cost of shipping for a box of cards to our troops. Each 25 cards in the challenge they will pay for a box up to 2 boxes. Each month is a different challenge. This month was tic tac toe. I used the first vertical row which was a brad, a die cut and a digi image. My sentiment is a digi image from Create with TLC.  I have the supplies to make 2 more of these cards. I want to put one in my personal box.

How've you bean?

For the coffee bean image I used 3 separate images from Bugaboo Stamps. I merged them in Word and made 1 image. Lot's of fun. I colored with Copics. For the sentiment circle I used a Fiskars stamp. I have a few coffee cup brads so I added one of those for a bit of fun.

In the top image I added a strip of paper under the sentiment. The sentiment circle didn't look right. Kind of like it was floating in space
