CAS Mothers Day card

A clean and Simple card. Waaay outside my comfort zone.  lol  This was one stamp and I cut it apart so I could ink up seperately. I stamped the flower twice to get the different colors. I rather like how it turned out. I have 4 like this and I may make some more. It went together pretty fast once I was able to get the computer generated sentiment exactly where I wanted it. If I had been real ambitous I would have used embossing powder. I wasn't

Home is where the heart is

In the paper purge my daughter gave me were some adhesive backed fabric sheets. The adhesive seemed very good so I made up a few cards. The sentiment is from one of The Hero Arts/Operation Write Home packs. These will be for OWH

others Day

I made a few of this design for OWH. I used different papers on them. This is the last chunk of this one.

If a kiss was a raindrop

I love how this turned out. I made 3 for OWH. The card is for the Our Daily Bread Designs challenge. The company contributes the cost of shipping for a box of cards to our troops. Each 25 cards in the challenge they will pay for a box up to 2 boxes. Each month is a different challenge. This month was tic tac toe. I used the first vertical row which was a brad, a die cut and a digi image. My sentiment is a digi image from Create with TLC.  I have the supplies to make 2 more of these cards. I want to put one in my personal box.

How've you bean?

For the coffee bean image I used 3 separate images from Bugaboo Stamps. I merged them in Word and made 1 image. Lot's of fun. I colored with Copics. For the sentiment circle I used a Fiskars stamp. I have a few coffee cup brads so I added one of those for a bit of fun.

In the top image I added a strip of paper under the sentiment. The sentiment circle didn't look right. Kind of like it was floating in space

A Mothers day card

Eight of these for OWH. The black flowers are shiny embossed as part of the paper. I spent what seemed like hours poking the holes out of a dozen of these gold foil doilies. A pretty basic card but has it's charm. Somebodys mother will like it.

Using the ugly paper

You know how you buy a paper pad and wonder what ever was I thinking? That's what happened with this DCWV pad of butterfly paper. It was cheap and I sprung. The pink cardstock? A color in a pack of multi colors of Bazzill. Not sure that I have ever used a sheet of this particular color. It had 3 or 4 in the pack. So here I am. I combined the 2 and the card is pretty cute if you ask me.

Robot Miss You

I picked up this $1 stamp at Michaels. Paired it up with some paper from a DCWV small pad.

Ribbit

A Doodle Pantry pre colored image. I was going to put it in the OWH sketch challenge being sponsored by Doodle Pantry but their sketch just didn't work. The sentiment was added with Karen Foster Snap Stamps. Wish they still made them

OWH-Flowers on Flowers

I went shopping yesterday and bought 4 stamps by La Blanche, my first ones. This is a very detailed stamp and I was more than pleased with how well it stamped used Memento ink. I am partial to Versafine but it smears with Copics. After coloring I added Diamond Glaze to the flowers. The image is popped up over the ribbon. I have 4 of these cards. They don't say Mom but can still be used for Mothers Day.
