The last of my Christmas cards

This is it folks. The end of my Christmas cards. Would you believe with all the paper I have that I bought 7 sheets of Christmas paper on sale today! With all these holiday cards I reached way back in my stash of papers. The new pads by Cosmo Cricket and Cloud 9 were ignored. I hope after Christmas to maybe pick up some embellishments on the cheap.

I have not made any cards for a few days. I do have my Angela's birthday card done but I will wait to post it. I probably won't update here until after Christmas.

I have spent the last few days messing around with my organizing. I bought 2 of the Cropper Hopper carts on wheels that have 10 12" drawers each. I got them on sale at Joannes for a good price. I have also been scanning my stamped images I have gotten from others. I did some cropping and enhancing and have turned them all into pngs. I am looking forward to taking some of the bigger images and doing a smaller version of them.

Fun cards

I see I haven't updated for a few days. Been busy I guess. Here are a couple more cards. The snowman and reindeer were precolored digital images. The little bear was a piece of clip art. I covered him with Diamond Glaze and then roughed it up to look like fur.

Penguins

I made 4 of these cards. They were all a little different. Sent 3 of them to my grand kids. It was a digital image but I don't know from who. I added Stickles Distress Rock Candy to the snow lines. Added Diamond Glaze to the tree and snowballs.

Done with my holiday cards.

Finished up the last of my cards. I need to get addressed and stamped now. I guess I will post one a day until they are all here. Several I made duplicates of.

I need to get busy with birthday cards now. My Angela's is the day before Christmas. We always do the big celebration on Christmas Eve. I have several birthdays coming up the first 2 weeks in January so time to get with it.

This card was done in 2 versions. One had red crystal lacquer and one had green. They both look real nice.

Finishing up my holiday cards.

I am almost finished with my cards. I figure I have a few more days before I get them in the mail. I need to start getting them uploaded each day. This card was stamped with Stazon on sleek paper. The oversize snowflake I have had for a couple of years in my stash

Christmas Cocoa

I try to post every 2 days. Looks like I forgot yesterday.

This card was made with a digital image from TLC. I colored with Copics. Put some Diamond Glaze on the marshmellows and candy cane.

I have been making lots of holiday cards. I need to get some pictures taken and posted

I am waiting for my granddaughter and family to arrive from Gold Beach which is 4 hours from here. They got a late start. They are coming to the big city to do some gift shopping.

Pink poodles for Christmas

I made this card for my 9 year old grandaughter. The Poodle is a digital image colored with Copics. What little girl doesn't like pink although she told me a few months ago that purple was now her favorite color

Christmas cheer, Santa is near

This was a fun card. I made 2 like this and am using different paper for 2 more. The digital image is from Bugaboo. The digital sentiment is from TLC. I used Copic markers and also some Spica glitter pens to color her dress. I also used some Sakura Crystal Lacquer on the berries and bulbs. To fasten the ribbon I used my Tim Holtz tiny stapler for the first time. I was pretty impressed.
I just finished the other version so I added it. It appears as the first picture

OWH-I am nuts and bolts about you

I did this card in primary colors for the boys and the girls and then one in very girly colors. I did 7 of each. My mind is a blank on this Black Friday morning. I need to look and see if these were digis. I did them a couple of weeks ago and I have slept since then. It is Stampendous wood mounted stamp I bought just to make these cards for OWH. I kept one of them out to send later to my 6 year old grandson Taylor.

I need to go look at more adds to see what kind of shopping I will do when day breaks.

When the weather outside is Fros-Tea

I really enjoyed making this card. I have been so caught up in making cards for OWH that I have neglected making other cards. I made this card with a digital image and sentiment from TLC. The paper came with the embossed trees. I colored the image with Copics and used Spica glitter pens on the flakes. I cut and mounted on the DCWV glitter paper in pale lavender. Punched the snowflakes with the glitter paper too. Added some Swarovski crystals for a little more bling. On the sentiment I added Distress Rock Candy Stickles for the snow. I plan on making some cards like this.
