In honor of Suzanne
OWH card maker and supporter, Suzanne, recently passed away. This card is in her honor and inspired by one of her cards.
The image is colored clipart from Provo Craft. The sentiment is from one of OWH stamp sets by Hero Arts. The banner is from Stampin Up. I popped up the sentiment so the card scanned brighter at the top than at the bottom.

Anything for you.
I made 6 cards using this DCWV paper from the Painted Petals Pack. Sometimes it is hard to use striped paper like this. I fussy cut some flowers from another sheet that is full of flowers that are too big for anything else.

Girls make big mess
My 11 and 12 year old great granddaughters busy making cards. What a mess. They even went in the spare bedroom and came out with 2 containers of Halloween stuff. They told me they would clean up and they did. When I got up this morning everything had been put away.

Circles
The Mid Week Throw down on OWH this week was to make a card with circles. I had already pulled these papers because I wanted to work with them so the timing was perfect. They are by Daisy Bucket and have a date of 2008. Just a little old. Papers my daughter gave me when she was trying to whittle down her supplies. I made 8 of these cards.

Penny Black meets hot colors
I have had these Penny Black stickers for ages. I decided some hot color cards would be just right for Mothers Day. I am working on getting my OWH box filled so I can send it off soon. I went over the sentiment twice with a Sakura clear glaze pen. The black card stock is a very heavy shimmery stock

Happy Mothers Day
I used the last of my Pink Paisley journaling cards with the butterfly images. Each butterfly is covered with Diamond Glaze. After stamping the sentiment I went over the lettering a couple of times with a Sakura clear glaze pen. Love that pen. The black card bases have a floral embossed wet look built in. My last 2 pieces of it.
It is taking me forever to fill my OWH box. I usually send in a box every other month but I haven't sent one since mid December. Slowing down I guess. I need about 180 cards to fill it. I have 159 and I need to send it off soon.

My craft room
This cart holds my printed design paper that I have not cut.
This middle cart holds patterned paper I have cut.
This cart with folders holds my solid cardstock in 12"x12" size
My unmounted stamps in CD cases.
Nothing fancy but I like it. I took the closet doors off. This is the only room that does not have the neutral color on the walls from when I bought the house. I splurged and paid $600 for a painter the day before I had laminate floors installed in this room. I have one more cart with colored drawers stashed under the pub table. The drawers open towards the closet. I have cardstock stashed in the desk drawers of my work desk. A place for everything and everything in it's place. Most of my ribbon I hung on a nail in the closet. Too much hanging on the door. The basket of stamps is how I store clear sets. I have two baskets like this. I got tired of putting them in CD cases.

It's Valentines Day!
My one layer card, stamped with Memento ink. The hearts banner is a stamp from Stampotique.
The Love stamp is by Inkadinkadoo. The swirls on the background are metallic gold. Very pretty.
The image on this looks a little strange. Probably because of the scan. The little jewels I added didn't allow the card to lay flat.
The strawberry paper and the chunky chocolate paper were scraps, the last of both. I would love to have more of this chunky chocolate but I have looked for years for more of it to no avail. The red hearts are flocked velvet.
This is the inside of the last card. I just had to have that Inkadinkadoo sentiment stamp when I saw it. I have had it for a couple of years and this is the first time I have used it. The hearts is a Hero Arts stamp.
