Hey! I miss you

This is Operation Write Home sketch #174

The circle sentiment is a die cut from My Minds Eye. It had a scalloped edge which I cut off with my Nestabilities. I bought 6 of these month ago and paid $.50 each because I liked them so much. Then I couldn't figure out how to use them! I will be making 6 cards.

Catch a Wave

For the first 3 cards I used a digi from Stampin Up. I didn't know they had digis until I paid them a call online. It cost me all of $1.10. It is an extreme surfer and he looks very agile on that board. I sent several of the last card in my last box to OWH but I made some more for the next box. The sentiment is a digi from Create With TLC. Altogether I have 34 of these cards so I guess that will be it for surfer cards this year.

Card number 3 is linked to this weeks OWH midweek challenge to use something in threes. I used 3 strands of twine. The last card also works with the 3 surf boards. I cut the bottom from a sheet of paper and each of the 3 cuts had 3 boards. Worked out perfect for me.

Frogs at play

I guess it is time to update my blog. Don't ask me why I waited so long. The frogs are a piece of Provo Craft clip art. Six each of the first 2 for my OWH box. The last one will go in my personal stash. I used an embossing border on the last card. The inside edge left a mark on the paper that I didn't like so I made only one.

Sealed with a kiss.

A couple of versions using this Hero Arts stamp. They went out in my last OWH box. I need to make some more. I really like this stamp.

More sketch #142

As I said in my last post, this is one of my favorite sketches. The banners were from the Cosmo Cricket Delovely line. Click on the image so you can see the group enlarged

Because I love you

Trying to use up what seems like an endless 6"x6" pad of this butterfly paper. Still have more. This is one of my favorite OWH go to sketches #142.

Wild Animals

The zebras are a stamp from Embossing Arts. The first 2 cards were stamped on white, the last one on a colored paper. The little strip of zebra paper is from Bo Bunny. The background papers are all old Basic Grey papers. The embelishments are Candi dots.

This card made it onto the OWH Facebook page but not my blog. The tiger is clip art, the background papers are Bo Bunny

Thank You

OWH needed thank you cards so I have spent the last few days making some more. My box is almost full and ready to mail. I want to get these into a different folder in my Pictures file so the second picture gives you all of them. Most were made with card fronts that I put together months ago. They just needed some attention.

I found a couple more thank you cards so here they are.

Again, using  up card fronts from months ago. Paper I have had forever. Just added the piece put through the embossing folder.

Doing the Fathers Day thing

It is early in the morning for me. I am on my first cuppa. I can't find the stamp set I used. I guess I need to start my morning by cleaning off the desk from what I was working on last night. The papers are at least a couple of years old.I made 6 of each for my OWH box

Tags and Twine

The Mid week Throwdown at OWH is tags and twine. I picked up 2 sheets of this nice heavy Bazzill paper for $.25 a sheet. The bottom had this card design. I cut off the bottoms and have 6 cards with a similar look. The top half is no design so I also like that. The back side is the stripes. The stamp is Stampendous. It came in a square frame and I cut it off. No regrets.

I decided I didn't like the black so I redid with blue. I like it much better. The blue ties in better with the stripes
