Owl Always Love you

I seem to have a mental block with the valentines so I did a love card. I have so much colored cardstock I decided I would start using it for the base instead of white. We will see how that works. I trimmed down one of the Michael's card bases that are pretty light weight and added to the inside to firm up the card.

I will give a shot to doing the card deets. Not accustomed to doing that at all.

Thank You

The challenge this week at OWH is a Thank You card. This and the following cards will go out in my next box. I am going to go ahead and post some more. I was trying to use up some Basic Grey papers all in the same couple of lines. Some of the cards also used an OWH sketch challenge.

Meow

Using up small pieces of patterned paper. I hate to see them get passed up all the time.

Key to my heart

I stamped the background with Brilliance Galaxy Gold using a Stampendous stamp. The red heart is a flocked paper. Feels and looks very luxurious. I used a Nestability to cut it. The inset on the key was yellow so I recolored it with a Copic marker. I have enough of the red to make 5 cards.

Reverse Iris Fold #2 & #3

I resized the pattern on this one a little and it looks much nicer. More like the original pattern intended I think. I used Origami papers and they folded so nice. This time I barely pricked the paper with the needle. Before cutting I reinforced at an angle each corner with a little piece of scotch tape.

I am really liking #3. Made some changes after the first #3 ended in the waste basket.

Sketch challenge #144

Nothing fancy here. Just a little stamping. The dotted heart is on Tim Holtz grunge paper. Love that stuff. So easy to cut with scissors. Both of these cards are pretty darn feminine. This was a nice sketch to work with.

Halloween with reverse Iris folding

A personal Halloween card using the reverse iris folding technique featured in a tutorial on the S&S blog this week. I used thin papers and still had difficulty folding. Not a perfect card but okay for a first time. I would like to try it with some origami papers. Now if I can just find them in my stash

Million hugs and kisses

I used up a bunch of scraps on these cards. Hugs and kisses for OWH troops to send home.

OWH sketch challenge #143

I made 16 of these cards. The top design used SRM word stickers. All of the colored strips are cardstock stickers by Reminicse. I bought 2 12"x12" sheets at Michaels months ago. Just hadn't figured out how to use them.

Hugs and Kisses

I had a lot of cards in my last box for OWH using the blue paper. The entire stack of paper in this pad has the scalloped edge on the bottom.
