OWH mid week throwdown

I hadn't planned on making any more fall cards but I will do the challenge for this week. The image is a vintage digi from Create With TLC. I did a little stamping on the background of a flourish. I colored with my Copics. Then my Tim Holtz tiny stapler was sitting in front of me just begging me to use it. I had to do it. I pulled out some more embellishments and thought "No, this is it". Actually I do have a couple more fall cards I haven't taken pictures of yet so I guess you will be seeing more from me.

I had a second look at this today. I added a thank you sentiment to the middle of the card. It looked like it needed something

What did the grape say

Here is the final version of my card. I found this paper in my stash with footprints and thought it was perfect. It reminded me of the I Love Lucy episode where she is in a vat of grapes and stomping them.
The sentiment is from Create With TLC

More fall cards

Seems like my fall cards are never ending. The first card I was able to make only one. I used up the last scrap of pumpkin paper on it. The second card was made using a stamp by Rubber Stampede. I stamped it on colored paper and cut it out. I used a stipple brush and added gold Mica Magic to it. The Thankful stamp is one of the $1 stamps from Michaels.

Somebody Loves You-OWH

For the life of me I can't remember if this image was a digi or a stamp. I can't seem to find it on my reference sheets. I colored the hearts with Copics. The paper was from my daughter. It was called dill flower. I thought the color was perfect for fall. The faux buttons are from cheery lynn designs. I love all the different sizes that came with the set. It is like Nestabilities. I was able to make about 4 of this card. I sent the box to OWH a couple of weeks ago.

Because I love you

I had this big sheet of paper with this design in 2 corners. I stamped each little heart and hugs and kisses. The bottom sentiment is one of the $1 stamps.

Autumn ripens pumpkins

Three versions of cards using this sentiment from Create With TLC. I used up every piece of my pumpkin paper that I had. Scraps be gone!

OWH-Clean and Simple

Operation Write home had a nice blog skip yesterday with Clean and Simple as the theme. I didn't participate as a blogger but I did hop. We were asked to post cards on the wall this weekend to see what we could come up with. The orange paper I put through the printer and printed the sentiment in the position I needed it to be. The stripes and the pumpkin paper are literally scraps from years past. I Used the Tim Holtz tiny stapler to attach the ribbon. I mounted the tag on a craft paper folded card instead of just the card front. I usually use a front base so I can mount it and have an border. Now that I have this card here I think I will ink around the edges to give it a little color

I decided I didn't like the version made with craft paper so I redid the tag on colored stock put through an embossing folder

I will make about 8 of these cards. Every time I say I am through with fall cards I do a few more. I don't know if I can get all the cards in the box. It is prety much full.

Fall colors

Another card made for OWH. The leaf is a very old original Sizzix die. The leaf paper is very old too. I am also pretty old.  lol   I mounted on chipboard and put through an embossing folder. The sentiment is from Stampendous.

OWH-fall miss you

I used a Sizzix leaf die that I have had too many years to remember. I used it on leaf paper. The top leaf is on chipboard and I embossed in a folder. The bottom card I put the leaf on the background and embossed the entire card. I did some leaf stamping on the side of the card

A is for Autumn

I made 4 of these for OWH. The stamp image is from Impression Obsession. I colored with Copic markers. For the center of the flower I added copper colored Stickles. I sealed it with Rangers Inksentials. One of the flowers I used Diamond Glaze for the center. The center was a beautiful clear brown. The Inksentials gave this center a kind of cloudy look. I think I need to get another bottle of Diamond Glaze. Putting that on my list right now. The sentiment is from Create with TLC. Not sure if it was a freebie or in a set I bought.
