OWH Memorial Day Blog Hop

Welcome! I want to keep this post brief so you have time to visit more blogs. The theme this year is cards with patriotic colors.

The stamp I used is from Stampotique. I can't remember what I colored it with. Maybe Copics, maybe Stampin Up markers. As my late mother-in-law would say, "I have slept since then". It doesn't really matter anyway. The letter U was cut with Sizzix Sizzlets that haven't seen any love for a long time. The polka dot paper and the cardstock are all from Bazzill.

The I miss you sentiment is a Stampin Up stamp I bought on the cheap from my St Vincent DePaul thrift store. The Hanging hearts stamp is from Stampotique. I used a lighter shade of blue for the background paper. It is from the DCWV small pad Dots Stripes Plaids. It has some built in wet look embossing.

Thanks for checking out my cards.

Hi Cora, I always love seeing your cards. I really like the patterned paper as one of the mats for the sentiment on your first card and the second cards sentiment is just gorgeous and looks terrific with the string of hearts. I started visiting our local Goodwill after seeing your great finds from thrift stores, and thanks to you, I have come home with some great stamps. Hope you have a great weekend and are enjoying the TE die.
